So what are the benefits of a thermal imaging scan?

A pre-purchase moisture inspection should certainly be considered when buying a home (in additon to building inspection). The bottom line is, a picture tells a thousand words. Take a look over to the righthand side of this webpage and you can see exactly what we’ve found in homes. Most of what we find is ‘hidden’ behind the wall… the kind of issues that you or I or a building inspector simply can’t see. A thermal imaging scan works on heat, and will detect thermal anomalies using infrared… that’s why we can’t see these issues with the human eye.
